Women Veterans' Issues

Five years ago, then-Assemblywoman Wolk and the California Commission on the Status of Women requested that the California Research Bureau prepare a report to inform the Legislature about the unique service-related issues and general needs of women veterans.

In 2009, the Research Bureau released its findings in the first comprehensive U.S. report on the issue.
