              Senator Galgiani Appointed to Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Protection Commission

I would like to inform my constituents that the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the eastbound and westbound #1 (left) lane on State Route 12 at Potato Slough for bridge work.

Work will begin on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, through Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays.  Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

Senator Galgiani Announces the Introduction of Legislation Designed to Get Dangerous Synthetic Drugs Out of California

 

Sacramento—Today, Senator Cathleen Galgiani (D-Stockton) introduced Senate Bill 139 which is drafted with the intent of aiding law enforcement in the protection of our communities from synthetic drugs. In a follow-up to her previous legislation from 2014 which created the penalty structure for the possession of a synthetic drug, Galgiani introduced SB 139 in order to assist with the enforcement of the law.

SACRAMENTO- The recent swell of lawsuits in the Central Valley filed under the Americans with Disabilities Act has had a distressing impact on businesses, even forcing some to shut their doors. Predatory lawyers from outside of our community are coming in and demanding considerable sums of money from local businesses under the auspices of damages endured by their clients.
