Galgiani Bill on Regulation Transparency Passes on Bipartisan Support


Sacramento – In an effort to provide transparency to the state regulation development process, Senator Galgiani authored Senate Bill 176. The bill passed the Senate Governmental Organization Committee today on a bipartisan unanimous vote. SB 176 will require that all public hearing and comment opportunities be posted in the Office of Administrative Law’s California Regulatory Notice Register 15-days prior to any scheduled meeting.

SACRAMENTO-Water Hyacinth has wreaked havoc on those that rely on the Delta for their livelihood and recreation. This non-native floating plant has caused headaches for marina owners who have had an almost daily battle to keep the channel and waterways open for boaters.
