Valley Link Town Hall with Asm. Ransom

Dear neighbor,

Assemblymember Rhodesia Ransom and I will be co-hosting a town hall on Wednesday, Jan. 14, on the Valley Link rail project. The Valley Link Town Hall will be from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Tracy Community Center, 950 East St, Tracy, CA 95376. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Each weekday, more than 105,000 people, most of them from San Joaquin County, endure one of the worst commutes in the nation, traveling over the Altamont Pass.

The Valley Link Project aims to provide a much-needed alternative that will help reduce traffic and improve commute times: a fast, clean, reliable rail connection between ACE and BART.

Valley Link is a planned rail line that would connect commuters each day from San Joaquin County to the Dublin-Pleasanton BART station and beyond.

The first phase of the Valley Link project would allow ACE train commuters from the San Joaquin Valley to connect to the Dublin-Pleasanton BART via the Vasco Road ACE Station in Livermore. Eventually, the zero-emission Valley Link would connect directly to San Joaquin County residents.

In addition to myself and Asm. Ransom, the town hall will include representatives from Valley Link, along with local elected and public officials.

Please RSVP here. Looking forward to seeing you on Jan. 14 in Tracy.
